Car Dashboard

A dashboard or simply a dash is a control panel that is located in the interior of a car right under the windshield where all the gauges and meters are clustered. A part of the dash also houses the glove box that may contain driving instructions and other pertinent papers relating to the car. The meters installed in the dash include speedometer, odometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and engine temperature gauge. The dash of modern air-conditioned cars also has switches for operating the AC as well as devices for controlling the flow of air inside the car. Apart from this, the dash contains warning lights indicating low oil pressure or abruptly high engine temperature. Besides, the dash houses the car radio.

Dashboards of super luxury classy cars sport various audio equipments like compact disc players and built-in cellular phone holders and chargers.
Naturally therefore, the dashboard needs to be protected. In order to protect the dash from the damaging effects of the sun, people often use custom built dash covers that also provide a soothing look to this otherwise astute instrument panel. More modern Molded Dash Covers with their non-stitch perfect fitting appearance surely enhance the streamlined beauty of the vehicle’s dashboard.
